Crescent Roll Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) can crescent roll dough
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 2/3 cup butter
- 1 (6 -8 ounce) bag walnuts, chopped
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- 1 Preheat oven to 375.
- 2 Use 10 x 15 Jelly roll pan, sprayed with PAM.
- 3 Spread crescent roll dough over pan.
- 4 Bring butter and brown sugar to a boil for one minute, to make caramel.
- 5 Spread caramel mixture over dough.
- 6 Sprinkle walnuts over entire pan.
- 7 Bake 15 - 18 minutes until dough is golden brown and caramel is bubbly.
- 8 Remove from oven and pour chocolate chips over pan.
- 9 Spread some of the chips out, but leave others whole, for a nice presentation.
- 10 Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
