Crescent Roll Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) can crescent roll dough
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1 (6 -8 ounce) bag walnuts, chopped
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  • 1 Preheat oven to 375.
  • 2 Use 10 x 15 Jelly roll pan, sprayed with PAM.
  • 3 Spread crescent roll dough over pan.
  • 4 Bring butter and brown sugar to a boil for one minute, to make caramel.
  • 5 Spread caramel mixture over dough.
  • 6 Sprinkle walnuts over entire pan.
  • 7 Bake 15 - 18 minutes until dough is golden brown and caramel is bubbly.
  • 8 Remove from oven and pour chocolate chips over pan.
  • 9 Spread some of the chips out, but leave others whole, for a nice presentation.
  • 10 Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
