Grilled Honey-Mustard Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 (2 lb) salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons oil (not olive oil)
  • 1 teaspoon spicy brown mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 5 -6 green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup sesame seed, toasted (optional)

Directions

  • 1 In a bowl, combine vinegar, soy sauce, honey, oil, mustard and ginger.
  • 2 Place the salmon in a shallow glass baking dish.
  • 3 Pour the marinade over the fish.
  • 4 Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 1-1/2 hours, turning once.
  • 5 Discard marinade.
  • 6 Grill or broil over medium heat for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes with a fork.
  • 7 Transfer to a serving plate and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds (if using).
